- SMALL GROUPS
As followers of Christ, we are called to spread the gospel to every nation. How can we do that effectively in the 21st century?
We believe it all starts with relationship. Since the turn of this century, Vineyard Missions has been a catalyst for helping pastors, leaders, and missionaries to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with emerging pastors around the world who seek partnership and have a desire to grow and lead. We're equally as active in building a network of relationships with other Vineyard churches that are interested in playing a role in international missions. With these relationships in place, we can do what we’re uniquely qualified for: connecting and equipping Vineyard churches to raise up these indigenous leaders who will be the catalysts for a church-planting movement in their home county.
Currently, we participate in mission work in the following ways:
Our ultimate goal is to partner with other USA Vineyard churches to facilitate church planting movements in other countries and help raise up indigenous leaders to pastor to their communities.
Currently, The Vineyard Church of Houston is planting churches in:
Istanbul and Azerbaijan through the Turkey Partnership
Medellin, Cartegena, and Bogota through the Colombia Partnership
Reynosa and Monterrey, Mexico through the South Texas Border Partnership
Cross Cultural Workers
We periodically support Individuals that have moved outside of the US in order to spread God’s word and serve his people.
Because of our work in Turkey and the surrounding area, we have a prayer group that meets monthly to pray for Muslims.
Muslim Prayer Group – meets the 3rd Monday from 7-8:30 at 6210 Grovewood
We support our workers and partnerships with monthly financial commitments. You can give to our missions fund at any time - just designate your offering as "missions' fund."
